Insomnia Cookies is the saving grace of college students across the nation, and Columbia is no exception. The quaint Morningside Heights location is only a few blocks away from the campus, but if a student doesn’t feel like walking to the storefront, they can have the cookies delivered straight to their dorm. Each cookie is kept warm, a great juxtaposition to the milk or ice cream you can add onto your purchase. You can buy just a cookie, or you could go all in and get brownie ala mode or cookie sandwich. It’s $1.25 per cookie, which some people find to be too pricey. However, the cost is worth it since they come warm and fresh, unlike the cookies you could get at the neighboring delis.
